What to do when you’re in a negativity bubble.

Look for opportunity in difficult times.
What can you gain or learn from the situation? Train yourself to notice opportunity instead of getting stuck in a negative downward spiral.

Always focus on the positives.
It’s so easy to over think and focus on the negatives that it becomes easy to forget any positives. You could even write down all positive experiences. Find a quote or write something positive about yourself and keep it for when you need a reminder.

Be grateful.
Think about or write down 3 things you are grateful for everyday, no matter how small you think they are.

Rest.
Give yourself time away from work to see family and friends and do things you enjoy. Even just saying out loud what’s bothering you to someone who will listen can help.

Be nice.
Smile at people (and dogs), be thankful and help others whenever you can.

Most importantly, be kind to yourself. Change the way you speak to yourself, replace those negatives with positives.
